This is a Direct Hire Solicitation

Physician Assistant

Salary Range: $89,508 to - $116,362 per year

 

Eisenhower Army Medical Center

As a Physician Assistant you will perform duties such as:

 

  • Conduct clinical evaluations and consultation and provide recommendations to avert complications.
  • Analyze and interpret routine laboratory results.
  • Educate patients and their family members regarding treatment and medical care.
  • Dispense and prescribe controlled substances in accordance with the scope of practice for Physician Assistants.
  • Develop and establish plans to provide and improve patient health care.

US Citizenship Required

 

At least one year of experience as a certified physician assistant treating patients performing examinations, prescribing medications, and determining appropriate medical treatment.

 

Graduation from a physician assistant educational program, accredited by the Accreditation Review Committee on Education for the Physician Assistant (ARCPA), or its predecessors, at a college, university, or educational institution that is accredited by an accrediting body or organization recognized by the Secretary, U.S. Department of Education.

 

Successful completion of the National Commission of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) examination; must maintain status as a certified physician assistant, including completion of all requirements for continuing medical education (CME) and re-certification.

 

  

All Applicants must be licensed as a Physician Assistant by the recognized licensing agency of a State, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, Guam, or the U.S. Virgin Islands.
