Job Description
You will be the 726191BR - RF Engineer - Staff for the AMMM (Air Mobility and Maritime Missions) Communications/Navigation and Surveillance team which is responsible for integrating advanced radio solutions onto the C‑130 platform.
What You Will Be Doing
As the 726191BR - RF Engineer - Staff you will be responsible for delivering end‑to‑end RF engineering for airborne communications, from concept through production release.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Architect and design RF systems and circuitry for C‑130 radios, including antennas, transmitters, receivers, and amplifiers.
- Lead procurement, installation, test, and release of radio hardware into production.
- Perform link analysis, trade studies, and CAIV analysis to optimize performance and mitigate interference.
- Develop test methods, specifications, and support manufacturing during assembly and test phases.
- Track RF technical performance measurements and contribute to life‑cycle cost, reliability, and maintainability analyses.

You are a seasoned RF engineer with deep experience in high‑frequency and microwave design, hardware layout, and system integration. You thrive in complex, multidisciplinary teams, bring rigorous analytical skills to link analysis and trade studies, and are committed to delivering reliable, production‑ready solutions for critical aerospace platforms.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must possess an active Secret clearance to start.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
