Position:  Middle School Agriculture Teacher

Location:  Waycross Middle School

Qualifications:  

1.  Certified in Agriculture Education [FLD 788] (6-12), must hold a bachelor’s degree or higher from a GAPSC-accepted accredited institution.

2.  Must be able to manage a well-rounded agricultural education program that includes developing and supervising all aspects of the agriculture experience, classroom instruction; Supervised Agricultural Experience (SAE); projects; FFA activities and other related responsibilities

3.  Previous teaching experience preferred

4.  Provides evidence of strong communication skills and competence in working with students, teachers, administrators, parents and community members

5.  Ability to work well with fellow teachers in a team structure

6.  Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable

Salary:  Salary determined by qualifications and years of experience
