Description
What You'll Do
Loan Processing Duties
- Manage a small pipeline of up to 5 loans per month
- Review new loan files prior to initial disclosures to ensure completeness and accuracy
- Assist with file setup to prevent conditions (“cures”) and improve submission quality
- Support overall file quality and readiness for processing and underwriting
Administrative & Operational Support
- Monitor and respond to team inbox inquiries and help requests in a timely manner
- Answer basic operational and loan-related questions from team members
- Assist with loan locking and DPA (Down Payment Assistance) loan processing as needed
- Pull and distribute scheduled reports, including:
- Broker reports (month-end)
- Branch projection reports (first and mid-month)
- DPA reports (first and mid-month)
- Processor projection reports
- Provide support for daily operational questions, including:
- Running DU (Desktop Underwriter)
- Troubleshooting file or system issues
- General workflow guidance
Requirements

- Ability to prepare state and federally required disclosures
- Ability to manage processing pipeline
- Knowledge of basic underwriting guidelines to calculate income, assess adequate asset availability, review appraisal report, read title commitment/preliminary title reports
- Depending on the opening, may train or may need someone with 1-2 years experience
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Frequent use of hands and fingers for typing and data entry
- Ability to view and analyze information on a computer screen for extended periods
- Occasional standing, walking, and reaching
- Ability to lift and carry up to 10–15 pounds (files, documents, office materials)
- Ability to maintain focus in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
