NACOS Marine delivers advanced navigation, automation, and control systems for vessels worldwide. Our integrated solutions help ship owners and operators improve safety, efficiency, and sustainability at sea. With proven reliability, innovative technology, and dedicated support, we enable smarter maritime operations. Let’s shape the future of maritime technology together.

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager (m/f/d) to join our US organization of more than 60 professionals. Based in either Weston, FL or Harahan, LA, you will be responsible for driving sales growth across Navigation, Automation, and Dynamic Positioning solutions.

In this role, you will take full ownership of your assigned territory, managing both existing customer relationships and developing new business opportunities. Primary focus will be the East Coast and West Coast of the United States and Canada, as well as the Great Lakes region.

You will oversee the complete sales cycle from lead generation and opportunity management to contract handover, while working closely with internal stakeholders across engineering, project management, and product teams.

This is a hands-on, independent sales role requiring a proactive approach, strong market knowledge, and the ability to operate effectively in an international environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within the assigned territory
  • Manage and grow existing customer relationships across the maritime sector
  • Drive order intake in line with sales targets, including profitability and margin objectives
  • Manage the full sales cycle from inquiry through to contract handover
  • Provide accurate forecasting, pipeline management, and reporting via CRM tools
  • Prepare and coordinate customer quotations and proposals in collaboration with internal teams
  • Ensure contract quality and compliance with company policies and requirements
  • Actively manage risks associated with sales opportunities and projects
  • Support customer communication during project execution in cooperation with Sales Support and internal teams
  • Maintain and enhance customer satisfaction through consistent engagement and follow-up

Key Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of sales experience within the maritime industry, ideally in navigation, automation, or dynamic positioning solutions
  • Strong network within the marine sector and understanding of key market stakeholders
  • Proven ability to manage sales activities independently and deliver results
  • Strong commercial mindset with excellent negotiation and communication skills
  • Experience working in multicultural and international environments
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken)
  • Willingness to travel extensively (approx. 50–60%) within the United States and Canada
  • Must be authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship
