Fairport, NY is the headquarters for the Radionix LLC sales organization in the United States and serves as the primary site for research and development, engineering, quality and product management for intrusion detection systems, including state-of-the-art sensors, control panels, communicators and more.
Job Description:In this position, you will support the Chief Product Officer within the Radionix Access and Intrusion Business to establish the strategy, align the organization and deliver a global product roadmap.
You will support cross-functional teams involving Product, Sales and Engineering to establish market requirements, partnering strategies, product requirements and deliver comprehensive solutions that leverage wired and wireless device technology.
This role requires an analytical business mindset coupled with experience in Internet of Things (IOT) product technology. You will collaborate with industry partners, trade associations, standards organizations and, of course, our product development teams.
The Product Manager works with product development teams, regional marketing and sales and supplier partners to deliver ecosystem solutions that our customers and channel partners value. Key ownership areas include:
- Transforming strategy into executable product roadmaps.
- Organizing new product development.
- Driving product launch readiness.
- Product end of life processes.
The ideal candidate will have strong skills and experience in the following areas:
- BA or BS degree in Business Management, Marketing or Engineering required.
- Masters degree in Business Management, Marketing or Engineering preferred.
- 0-3 years experience, preferably in the security products business, Internet of Things business or in a global product management capacity.
- Experience owning product from concept through commercial release with emphasis on new product introduction in a cross-functional team environment .
- Experience developing electronic products for the security industry – products and/or services.
- Familiarity with wireless protocols used to control sensors and devices (e.g., LoRaWAN, Z-Wave, ZigBee, proprietary subGHz, BLE) is preferred.
- Familiarity and/or hands-on experience with wired sensor products including commonly used RS485-based control protocols.
- Proficiency with MS Office suite of applications.
- Familiar with enterprise apps including Jira, Confluence, Centercode or SAP preferred.
The U.S. based salary for this role is $63,000-$75,000 annually. Within the range, individual pay is determined based on several factors, including, but not limited to, work experience and job knowledge, complexity of the role, job location, etc.
