JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

The Health Professions department is seeking a positive, supportive, and dynamic Health Information Management Systems Instructor to teach a diverse community of learners. Preference will be given to candidates who are committed to student success, equity, inclusion and the use of the classroom experiences to enhance workplace understanding and performance.

Responsible for teaching credit Health Information Management Systems courses.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS FOR EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor's degree in the discipline or in a related discipline and 2 years full-time related occupational

experience OR

Associate’s degree, current relevant industry certification, and 2 years full-time related occupational experience

 

Compensation: $580 per Equivalent Credit Hours (ECH)

 

May include day, evening and/or weekend classes and will involve travel to other campuses.

A teaching demonstration is required as part of the interview process.

Hiring process includes passing a background check.
