The ideal candidate will analyze business needs, evaluate system performance, and implement technology-driven solutions that enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and support strategic decision-making across supply chain, inventory, procurement, and order fulfillment functions.
Essential Functions:
- Generate and analyze key performance indicators to measure business performance: Develop and maintain a comprehensive set of reporting to measure procurement operational effectiveness and how it impacts the warehouse operations while considering vendor discounting and freight terms.
- Provide meaningful insights: Collect and analyze data related to procurement and warehouse logistics, including inventory levels, order volumes, picking and packing efficiency and labor utilization. Provide updates and insights to business stakeholders.
- Data integrity maintenance: Ensure accuracy and consistency of data as well as determine opportunities for operational improvements in purchasing, pricing and warehouse operations.
- Cross functional collaboration: Collaborate with various departments such as inventory control, purchasing, pricing and warehouse management to gather data, understand requirements and help aid in developing solutions for the operational challenges.
- Profit-minded approach: Identify opportunities for operational efficiencies, and cost reductions through data analysis and collaborate with the relevant stakeholders to implement appropriate changes
