Job Summary
An Administrative Assistant is responsible for performing a range of clerical and administrative tasks to support daily operations in an office setting. These tasks may include, but are not limited to answering phones, greeting guests, entering data, keeping records up to date for the office, and sending and receiving mail and other correspondence
Primary Responsibilities
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls in a professional manner
- Coordinate scheduling for contractors, vendors, and site visitors
- Assist with processing and paying invoices in a timely manner
- Support purchasing of materials, supplies, and office needs
- Set up new vendor accounts and maintain required documentation, including W-9s
- Track orders and follow up on deliveries as needed
- Maintain organized records and filing systems (electronic and paper)
- Provide general administrative support to plant leadership
- Assist with additional tasks and projects as assigned based on operational needs

Specific Minimum Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Associate or bachelor's degree in communication or business preferred
- Prior experience with Microsoft Office and typing
