Job Summary/Objective
The program manager is involved with many aspects of launching new and supporting existing business for the OEC products. Initially, the program manager works with the OEM through the implementation of their programs, employing strong communication and project management skills. As the OEM program matures the program manager works with the OEM and OEC teams to ensure success of the program using strong strategic thinking, performance analysis, and identifying opportunities for improvement.
As part of a wider team supporting the business, it is the program manager’s role to ensure a successful program launch and ongoing performance.
Key Responsibilities & Duties (essential to the job)
1. Understands integrated SaaS solutions to help customers recognize the expectations of building a successful program together.
2. Conducts thorough reviews of the program implementation plan with the customer ensuring all requirements are captured and documented.
3. Works through the implementation plan with OEC and OEM teams to get to technical and non-technical readiness for program launch.
4. Creates and executes, with other OEC teams, a pre-launch communication and training campaign.
5. Creates reports and delivers insight into program performance and delivers this valuable information to the customer regularly.
6. Coordinates and conducts voice of dealer interviews after launch to supplement performance data with qualitative feedback that should be shared with the OEM customer.
7. Partners closely with program Success teammates to build strong strategic campaigns with the OEM customers post-launch.
8. Collaborates with OEM field teams to ensure their ability to help their dealer customers in the field on the value and use of the program.
9. Provides regular updates on program performance to OEC leadership.
Experience, Skills and Key Competencies
· Background in automotive industry, parts inventory management
· Proven experience as a business consultant of SaaS implementation projects in medium to large organizations is welcome
· Ability to work independently without direction from other project members.
· Ability to provide direction to other project team members.
· Ability to take initiative and ownership of projects. Delivers efficiently and aggressively against timelines.
· Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills.
· Demonstrated expert knowledge and use of basic business productivity tools like MS365, Miro, and Smartsheet.
· Familiarity with standard project implementation methodologies and deliverables created during an enterprise systems deployment.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills with project team and client resources.
· Ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment.
· Ability to document and communicate project status regularly to leadership.
· Ability to focus on multiple priorities and tasks at a given time.
· Domestic/international travel for this position may be required.
· Must be able to fluctuate work hours as necessary to engage with different global time zones.
