• Cheyenne Mountain District 12 is seeking Special Education Teachers for Gold Camp Elementary and Skyway Elementary schools.
• This position addresses current student needs at specific schools. If the current school should experience a change in student needs, the individual filling this position may be required to change location to another school where needs are demonstrated. This could occur at any time during the school year.
• Candidate should have a strong background in instructional strategies and programming for elementary students who have Autism Spectrum Disorder.
   

 Required Qualifications:    

• Bachelor's (Baccalaureate) degree (e.g., B.A., A.B., B.S.), meets subject, grade level, and/or content area qualifications consistent with Colorado Department of Education and Cheyenne Mountain District 12 requirements
• Elementary Sped Teacher must have READ Act designation or be in the process of obtaining
• Must possess or be in the process of obtaining a Colorado Teacher License
• Criminal background check required for hire

  Workdays Per Year: 182 

  Salary:                         
      $51,155 to $78,902
      Licensed Salary Schedule                                     
      Salary based on education and experience
