The salary range(s) represents our good faith estimate for the role at this time. We’re seeking an experienced Senior Storage & Backup Administrator to help manage and evolve the enterprise storage, backup, and recovery systems that support critical operations across our organization.

This is an opportunity for a hands-on infrastructure professional who enjoys owning complex environments, solving high-impact technical challenges, and building resilient systems where uptime, recoverability, and performance truly matter.

You’ll play a key role in ensuring our storage platforms and backup environments remain secure, scalable, and ready to support both day-to-day operations and long-term growth.

What You’ll Do:

You will own day-to-day operations and long-term support of enterprise storage and backup systems, including:

  • Administering enterprise storage environments including SAN, NAS, block, and file storage platforms
  • Managing backup, restore, replication, retention, and recovery processes
  • Monitoring system health, performance, and capacity utilization
  • Troubleshooting storage, server, hardware, OS, and connectivity issues
  • Performing firmware updates, patching, upgrades, and routine maintenance
  • Supporting disaster recovery planning, testing, and business continuity readiness
  • Provisioning storage resources for business and infrastructure needs
  • Automating recurring tasks through scripting and administration tools
  • Partnering with infrastructure, security, networking, and server teams on projects and incidents
  • Serving as a senior technical resource and mentoring team members
  • Participating in an on-call rotation for after-hours support as needed

To be successful as the Senior Storage & Backup Administrator, we're looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology or related field, or equivalent experience
  • 6+ years of enterprise infrastructure support experience
  • Strong experience with enterprise storage, backup, or systems administration
  • An approved technical certification is required within six months of hire (if not already held). Examples include, but not limited to:
    • Azure Fundamentals
    • AWS Cloud Practitioner
    • VMware VCP
    • Pure Storage FlashArray
    • Dell EMC Proven Professional
    • Red Hat RHCSA
    • Veeam VMCE
    • CompTIA Server+ or Network+
  • Strong troubleshooting and communication skills

 Preferred Qualifications:

  • PowerShell, Bash, Python, or other scripting/automation experience
  • Advanced enterprise storage administration experience with SAN, NAS, block, file, or object storage platforms
  • Relevant storage certifications such as Pure Storage, Dell EMC, NetApp, HPE, or similar technologies
  • Familiarity with Remedy, Jira, ServiceNow, or enterprise ticketing platforms
  • Experience with vulnerability remediation, patching, and infrastructure security controls
  • Familiarity integrating hardware platforms with Microsoft Active Directory or LDAP services
  • Working knowledge of data protection strategies including backup, replication, retention, recovery, and business continuity

 Position Type, Location, and Expected Hours of Work: 

  • This is a full-time, hybrid position based in Little Rock, Arkansas. Days and hours of workweek are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Working extended hours may be required.

 Travel Requirement:

  • This position requires minimal travel (approximately 10%)
