Position: Kitchen Manager
Location: In person required: 11801 Ventura Blvd, Studio City, CA 91604
Shift: Morning, Day, Holidays, and Weekends (Mandatory)
Starting Salary Range: $71,000 – 80,000 per year
Expected Hours: 45 - 55 per week
Supervisory: Oversees BOH team. Reports to General Manager & Assistant General Manager

Position Summary:
The Kitchen Manager leads the back‑of‑house operations at our lively, high‑vibe brunch destination, ensuring every plate, prep station, and team member is set up for success. This role oversees team members, daily kitchen flow, maintains high culinary standards, and keeps the energy strong during our busiest brunch rushes. Responsibilities include supervising and developing the kitchen team, managing inventory and ordering, upholding food safety and sanitation practices, and driving consistency in both prep and execution. The ideal candidate is a hands‑on leader who thrives in a fast‑paced, upbeat environment and brings a balance of organization, creativity, and calm under pressure to keep the kitchen running smoothly and the guest experience exceptional.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive and uphold all kitchen systems, recipes, and standards established during opening, ensuring the brunch experience stays dialed‑in and consistent
- Deliver unwavering consistency in food quality, prep execution, and plate presentation across every service
- Oversee all back‑of‑house operations daily, including prep flow, line performance, and smooth, efficient closing routines
- Lead, coach, and hold accountable the entire kitchen team—line cooks, prep cooks, and dish crew—while fostering a positive, high‑performance culture
- Champion kitchen organization, cleanliness, and sanitation, maintaining full compliance with health and safety regulations
- Manage inventory, ordering, and product pars to keep the kitchen stocked, efficient, and waste‑conscious
- Ensure prep levels are fully maintained to support high‑volume, fast‑paced brunch service
- Maintain strong, proactive communication with the General Manager regarding staffing, performance, and operational needs
- Support ongoing training and development, reinforcing systems and standards built during the opening phase
- Stay calm, focused, and solutions‑driven during peak rushes, keeping the team energized and the food flowing
What We’re Looking For:
- Must possess a minimum of 3 years Kitchen Management experience
- Strong knowledge of prep systems, pars, and station set up
- Excellence in collaborative work and creating a fast-paced, positive team rhythm where everyone feel supported, aligned, and ready to crush service
- Strong communication, team development, and leadership skills
- Dependable, punctual, and eager to serve
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and be on your feet for extended periods
- Ability to maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and kitchen flow; keeping with a clean structured service
- Strong understanding of health regulations (OSHA and State Health Departments).
