The purpose of this role is to implement and execute SEO initiatives, in line with the agreed strategy, to maintain, develop and exceed client performance targets.

About the Role

The Senior SEO Specialist will support and execute advanced SEO strategies across on-page, off-page, and technical SEO. You will work closely with content, analytics, and technical teams to optimize client websites, improve organic visibility, and drive sustainable traffic growth. This role is hands-on and analytical, requiring strong technical capabilities and a solid understanding of search engine behaviour.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute on-page, off-page, and technical SEO activities to improve rankings and organic traffic.

  • Conduct keyword research, competitor benchmarking, and comprehensive site audits.

  • Optimize website content, metadata, internal linking, and landing pages based on SEO best practices.

  • Collaborate with content and creative teams to ensure SEO principles are embedded in all content outputs.

  • Monitor technical health using tools such as GSC, crawl diagnostics, and performance metrics.

  • Track SEO KPIs and prepare regular reports with insights, trends, and actionable recommendations.

  • Support link-building, outreach, and authority-building initiatives.

  • Stay updated on algorithm changes, SEO innovations, and platform updates.

  • Provide proactive recommendations to improve site structure, user experience, and search performance.

Requirements

  • 2–4+ years of hands-on SEO experience within an agency or performance environment.

  • Strong knowledge of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO fundamentals.

  • Proficiency with SEO and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Search Console, crawling tools, keyword platforms).

  • Solid analytical skills and ability to translate data into clear recommendations.

  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
