VMI Coordinator



The VMI Coordinator will provide on-site support of customer’s inventory at various account locations and to proactively pursue new business in partnership with the Account Manager.



 Key Responsibilities include:



• Own customer inventory operations: Manage on-site stock, replenishment, and organization to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and uptime



• Be the face of McNaughton-McKay: Build strong customer relationships, communicate proactively, and support Account Managers in driving account success



• Execute and improve processes: Lead inventory setups, reorganizations, and continuous improvements to optimize CAP performance



• Drive growth: Identify opportunities to convert competitor products and expand into new categories (tools, repair, circuit boards, etc.)



• Ensure operational excellence: Coordinate with internal teams, maintain accurate records, and uphold all safety and compliance standards



• Stay hands-on: Perform physical work including stocking, lifting (up to 40 lbs), and maintaining delivery readiness



Knowledge/Skills/Abilities to be successful include:




  • High school diploma required; Associate’s degree preferred or demonstrated progression toward degree completion

  • 2+ years of Sales experience usually obtained through Mentoring program, Counter Sales or Inside Sales support position with knowledge of Mc-Mc products and warehouse operations.

  • Proven multi-tasking organizational skills.

  • Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office products (including Word and Excel) 

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.

  • Ability to independently obtain objectives and be self-directed.

  • Valid driver’s license for Region of business operation with a good driving record.
