Excavator Operator – Traveling Stripping Crew

Full-Time | Benefits Eligible | Statewide Travel Required

Capital Materials Quarries is seeking a skilled Excavator Operator to join our Traveling Stripping Crew. This position will require travel to various quarry locations throughout the state of Missouri. Hotel accommodations and mileage will be provided for travel assignments.

Responsibilities

• Operate excavators for stripping overburden and material removal

• Safely operate heavy equipment in various weather and site conditions, including exposure to dampness, dust, fumes, and other hazards

• Perform precise digging, grading, and material handling to support production goals

• Conduct routine inspections and basic maintenance to ensure equipment remains clean, safe, and operational

• Work closely with the foreman and crew to execute daily work plans efficiently

• Maintain awareness of surroundings to ensure safe operation near personnel and other equipment

• Perform general labor duties as needed

• Adapt to changing job requirements and perform other tasks as assigned by management
