Job Description

Missouri Cancer Associates (MCA), a member of The US Oncology Network, the largest network of community-based Oncologists in the United States is looking to hire a Radiation Oncologist. MCA is a cohesive group of 8 Radiation Oncologists, 7 Medical Oncologists, and 5 Urologists centered in Columbia, Missouri. We are affiliated with several hospital-based and free-standing clinics located in central Missouri.  We are planning in advance for the upcoming retirement of a partner.  The practice location is in Hannibal, Missouri.  Hannibal is a city with a population around 17,000 on the Mississippi River, located about 100 miles north of St. Louis.  The historic town is the boyhood home of Mark Twain and the region boasts museums, outdoor activities, water activities, professional theater, nature preserves, colleges, universities, golf courses, a casino, art galleries, and cave networks made famous by Mark Twain. Treatment offerings include IMRT, IGRT, 3-D conformal RT, radiopharmaceuticals, and SBRT. Physicians share call and vacation coverage. Applicants should be well-trained, self-motivated, work well in groups, and be patient oriented. Familiarity with IMRT, IGRT, SBRT, and Brachytherapy is required. MCA offers a competitive starting salary, benefits package and track to partnership. The position in Hannibal is part-time, but depending on personal preference, arrangements could be made for a full-time position.  This is not a J1 or H1B opportunity.
