Job Summary

The Security Dispatcher monitors radio traffic, telephone calls and alarm systems on campus. Appropriate personnel are then dispatched to provide the services requested.  This position assists with general office duties for the department, issues parking permits and performs other duties as needed.

Job Responsibilities

Monitor Systems (34%)

a. Radio Traffic

b. Fire System Notification /Alarms

c. Duress Alarms

 

Dispatch (33%)

a. Security and Safety Personnel

b. Emergency Services (EMS, Fire)

c. On-Call Staff regarding Campus maintenance issues

 

 Office Duties (33%)

a. Answer Telephone

b. Issue parking permits

c. Shifts reports, Dispatch Log, Calls for Service

d. Other Duties as assigned
