Role: 3rd Shift Floor Technician

Location: Danville, VA (Local Community College)

Pay: $13.00 per hour

The Budd Group is looking for a dedicated, detail-oriented Floor Technician to maintain the beautiful campus of our local community college partner. If you take pride in making surfaces shine and enjoy working independently during the quiet hours of the night, we want to meet you!

Work Schedule

This position offers a unique full-time schedule:

• Sunday: 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM

• Monday – Thursday: 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM

• Enjoy your Friday and Saturday nights off!

What You’ll Do

As a Floor Tech, you are the front line of campus aesthetics. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Performing specialized floor care tasks including buffing, stripping, and waxing.

• Executing deep carpet extraction and routine cleaning.

• Operating various types of floor equipment, specifically ride-on scrubbers.

• Ensuring all hallways, classrooms, and common areas meet The Budd Group’s high standards of excellence.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience: Proven background in professional floor care (buffing/stripping/waxing/extraction).

• Technical Skill: Prior experience operating a ride-on scrubber is required.

• Attitude: A positive, "can-do" mindset and a strong willingness to learn new techniques.

• Reliability: Ability to work the 3rd shift consistently and arrive on time.
