Security Officer (2nd shift/FLEX)

Location: Walton, KY

Job Type: Part Time/Flex

Schedule: 2nd shift | All days, including weekends

Shift: 3pm-11pm

Pay Rate: $16.32 per hour 

Requirements:

• Availability for 2nd shift
• Security experience required
• Flex/on-call security experience preferred
• Must be on-call and available to cover shifts as needed
• Open availability for all shifts, including days, evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays

Job Description:

We are seeking reliable and proactive Part-Time/Flex Security Officers to join our team during the 2nd shift and help ensure the safety and security of our facility. The ideal candidates will be responsible for monitoring the premises, conducting routine patrols, and responding to incidents as they arise, while maintaining a calm and professional demeanor during mid-day/evening hours.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor surveillance equipment and patrol assigned areas to ensure safety and security.
• Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, and disturbances.
• Provide a visible presence to deter criminal activity and maintain order in the facility.
• Perform regular inspections of doors, windows, and gates to ensure all entry points are secure.
• Document daily activities and report any security incidents or concerns to the supervisor.
• Assist in emergency situations as required, including providing first aid if necessary.
• Enforce facility rules and regulations.
• Provide excellent customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors, ensuring a safe environment.
