Position Title: Technical Manager / Subject Matter Expert – Audit Readiness & Compliance
Reports To: Program Manager
Location: Primarily desk-side / remote from the Contractor's office or home office (CONUS including Alaska, Hawaii, and outlying areas); occasional on-site support at DoD installations. OCONUS travel is highly unusual and only as required by individual task orders.
Clearance: Favorable NACI (minimum); ability to obtain installation access/CAC as needed.
Purpose / Customer Benefit: Delivers specialized expertise that maps electronic Real Property records to hard-copy requirements and applies Generally Accepted Audit Standards (GAAS), directly strengthening DoD audit readiness and protecting sustainment funding.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide subject matter expertise on DoD Real Property management, operations, and systems.
- Apply GAAS to assist customers in meeting Real Property Audit Readiness & Compliance guidance and standards.
- Analyze and document relationships between electronic records in RP IT systems and required hard-copy information.
- Support data review against audit regulations, identify discrepancies, and recommend corrective actions.
- Coordinate with facility users/tenants to validate record accuracy and completeness.
- As Technical Manager: Oversee quality of audit-support deliverables and mentor junior staff on compliance mapping.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Real Property Management, or related field (Master's or CPA/CIA preferred).
- Minimum 5 years of direct experience applying GAAS or DoD audit standards to Real Property or financial systems.
- Demonstrated knowledge of DoD Real Property IT systems and the linkage between electronic and hard-copy records.
- Experience supporting audit readiness reviews or remediation for Federal or DoD customers.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and database tools for data analysis and reporting.
- Must maintain IAT Level I certification and favorable NACI throughout performance.

- All audit-mapping deliverables accepted without material findings.
- Positive Government feedback on improved audit readiness posture.
