About the role and team:

This is a senior leadership role at the heart of CreateFuture’s iGaming vertical, as Delivery iGaming Director, you are one of four peers in the iGaming leadership team. Each member of the team has a distinct area of focus and accountability: the iGaming Industry Director owns revenue targets and client satisfaction; the Commercial Director owns account performance; the Engineering Director owns the technical teams and their capability; and this role owns delivery performance and programme execution.

Each has their own functional reporting line. This role reports into the COO, who holds executive accountability for delivery across CreateFuture. The team operates as a true matrix: no one directs the others, but all four are collectively responsible for the success of the vertical. You own the delivery KPIs, but hitting them is a shared endeavour.

This is not a closing role. You will be visible in the iGaming market, attending industry events and trade shows as a credible senior practitioner, but your presence there is about reputation and relationships, not cold networking. In the room, your authority comes from deep iGaming knowledge and genuine delivery expertise. You will help shape and steward early-stage opportunities alongside the wider team, contributing to how we position and scope work, and leading the delivery capability narrative in pitches and proposals. The close is theirs; the credibility is shared. You will be shaping how some of the most interesting iGaming organisations in the world run their product and technology programmes.

You are the person who provides the right level of rigour and governance, sometimes more than the client even knows they need yet. You set teams up for success, embed the right frameworks, and then empower delivery teams to execute. You are looking out one, two, three years, not just at the current sprint.

What you’ll be doing:

Portfolio Governance & Delivery Assurance

  • Owning delivery performance across the full iGaming portfolio by setting standards, tracking outcomes, and ensuring consistent quality across client accounts of varying size and complexity
  • Providing the governance framework and delivery assurance that gives clients confidence and our teams clarity, calibrating the level of rigour to the nature of each engagement, from short sharp delivery to multi-year enterprise programmes
  • Acting as the senior escalation point for delivery issues across the portfolio, working with teams and clients towards resolution
  • Identifying portfolio-level risks early and working proactively to address them before they become client problems
  • Driving predictability through metrics, owning the data that tells us how we’re performing and what we need to change

Client Leadership & Executive Engagement

  •   Representing CreateFuture at iGaming industry events and trade shows as a senior practitioner, building market presence and reputation through expertise rather than cold networking
  •   Building trusted, long-term relationships with senior client stakeholders, understanding their business deeply enough to anticipate their needs and challenge their thinking
  •   Working closely with the Commercial Director to identify growth opportunities within existing accounts. Your credibility as a delivery leader is a key part of how we retain and expand
  •   Playing an active role in early-stage opportunities by shaping how we position and scope work, contributing to proposals, RFPs and pitches, and stewarding opportunities through the pipeline alongside the Commercial Director. You lead the delivery capability story; the Commercial Director leads the close

Team Setup & Delivery Frameworks

  •   Shaping how delivery teams are structured and equipped for each client engagement, getting in early, setting up for success, and stepping back once the team is embedded and running
  •   Partnering with the Engineering Director to ensure commercial, delivery, and engineering alignment at client level
  •   Building and maintaining a delivery framework that is AI-native, identifying where tooling and automation can enhance quality, speed and assurance across iGaming programmes
  •   Recognising that different clients have very different delivery cultures, from those that want heavy governance and rigour to those that want pace above all else, and calibrating accordingly

iGaming Centre of Excellence

  • Building iGaming domain knowledge and delivery capability within the CreateFuture team, so that the people working on our biggest accounts are genuinely iGaming proficient rather than generalist consultants
  • Staying ahead of what’s coming in iGaming, whether that’s regulatory changes, market shifts, technology trends or AI adoption, and feeding that intelligence back into how we position and deliver
  • Distinguishing CreateFuture from the competition: where others (including major global SIs) can bring governance without competency, we deliver both

People & Servant Leadership

  • Leading, coaching and developing the delivery professionals across the iGaming vertical - at present, line management happens within the Capability but this role will line manage Delivery team members within the Vertical
  • Setting direction clearly, then getting hands-on where it matters. This is a working director role, not a purely strategic one
  • Partnering with the Delivery Director to build the team to meet current and future iGaming portfolio needs

What you'll bring:

This role requires a very specific combination: deep iGaming sector experience, serious delivery leadership credentials, and the executive presence to operate as a trusted peer at C-suite level. We’re not looking for a generalist delivery director who knows a bit about gaming. We’re looking for someone who has lived and breathed iGaming, and can bring both the delivery framework and the industry credibility.

  • Deep iGaming sector expertise. You understand how operators, platform providers, and technology partners work, you know the regulatory landscape, and you have clear opinions on what good looks like and why most large programmes in this sector fail
  • Proven delivery leadership in a consultancy or client-side environment, managing complex portfolios across multiple iGaming clients or programmes simultaneously
  • Experience operating at COO/CTO/CIO peer level, comfortable challenging senior stakeholders, providing strategic guidance, and being the person clients trust to tell them what they need to hear
  • A strong delivery philosophy, with a clear point of view on how to set programmes up for success. You will have worked across agile and more structured methodologies and know how to calibrate governance to context
  • Experience building or scaling delivery capability, whether that’s teams, frameworks or centres of excellence
  • Genuine interest in AI and its practical application to delivery, not as a buzzword but as a real tool for improving quality and outcomes
  • Comfort with pace, ambiguity, and portfolio complexity. You will be managing a mix of short sharp engagements and long-term strategic accounts at the same time

Nice To Have

  • Prior experience in a consultancy or managed services environment serving iGaming clients
  • Existing senior relationships within the iGaming sector
  • Experience in a vertical or practice leadership role, not just project or programme delivery
