Registered Dietitian Salary: $70,000 - 80,000/yr

Registered Dietitian Key Responsibilities
- Utilize the nutrition care process to conduct a comprehensive assessment for residents upon admission and routine reassessment.
- Facilitate nutrition related care for residents on both short-term rehab and long-term care units.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care team to determine appropriate plan of care for residents.
- Monitor resident’s dietary intake, weight, lab values and habits.
- Provide nutrition education and counseling to residents and families.
- Participate in care plan meetings, quality improvement initiatives and nutrition programs.
- Ensure compliance with state, federal and facility regulations.
- Complete MDS assessment in compliance with state guidelines.
- Collaborate with dietary staff for menu planning and to oversee foodservice operations as needed.
Registered Dietitian Qualifications
- Registered Dietitian (RD) credential required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics, Nutrition or related field
- Current state licensure (or eligibility) in New York
- Previous experience in clinical setting preferred
