Storeroom Clerk

A Storeroom Clerk is commonly expected to have knowledge of math, standard office equipment, and basic computer skills. To be successful in this role you will:
- Issue material, tools, parts and inputs storeroom activity into MAXIMO.
- Use iPad to perform daily cycle counts within storeroom inventory to assure adequate supplies are on hand and accounted for.
- Evaluate inventory and ensure that reorders within the system are timely and accurate.
- Receive in Maximo, uploads photo and properly stores parts/supplies in designated areas.
- Coordinate supply pickups and deliveries as needed.
- Place received items in proper storeroom location or deliver to proper internal customer
- Enter requisitions for repair or maintenance items
- Issue Maximo item numbers for additions to inventory
- Rebuild and issue wiredrawing dies
- Resurface (grind) used electrodes
Requirements and Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- knowledge of arithmetic, English and grammar.
- Accuracy and simple use of calculators, adding machine, telephone and typical office equipment.
- Adaptable to clerical routines.
- Proficient in Excel, Word, Oracle and IWP computer system and any other computer software.
- Ability to read a tape measure, micrometer, calipers, and other measuring devices preferred.
- A minimum of 3 months’ work-related experience is required.
- An equivalent combination of education and work-related experience may be acceptable.
