- Minimum of two years of experience working with Student Information Systems (preferably PowerSchool)
- Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Superintendent or designee finds appropriate
- Proven ability to demonstrate initiative and use sound judgment, while maintaining a high level of confidentiality
- Strong ability to communicate ideas clearly and effectively, both orally and in writing to a variety of stakeholders including faculty, staff, students and parents
- Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Ability to train and support staff on multiple platforms
- Ability to prioritize workflow to meet strict deadlines
- Proficiency with SQL, Javascript, HTML, Google Suite, and Excel preferred
- Customize and maintain a robust Student Information System (SIS) to meet the operational needs of the district and schools.
- Setup back-end systems and support all aspects of PowerSchool including School Messenger and Data & Analytics (i.e. end/beginning of term/year processes, report cards and customizations)
- Maintain and monitor district systems for data and support and work with school and district staff to ensure data accuracy (training, state report compliance, data verification, and data cleaning)
- Oversee State and Federal reporting (including training staff on reporting requirements,
- Collaborate with Human Resources to oversee directory management for the district
- Provide training as needed for district technology systems
- Manage, build and update the district website, including meeting regularly with each
- All other duties as assigned by the Superintendent of Schools

Director of District Data & Information
Overview
The Director of District Data & Information works with district and school
leaders to design and implement technology systems that support the effective communication of
district information and data, in support of student learning. Specifically, the person in this role will be responsible for our student information system (PowerSchool), data, state and federal reporting, student registration and communications (website and school messenger).
