Description

 GTA Containers, a leading defense contractor, is seeking a highly motivated Maintenance Technician to join our manufacturing team. 


Key Responsibilities:

  • Routine Maintenance – Perform scheduled maintenance on equipment and systems to prevent breakdowns.
  • Troubleshooting and Repair – Diagnosing problems with equipment and machinery; making necessary repairs.
  • Recordkeeping – Maintaining records of maintenance activities and work orders.
  • Communication – Effectively communicating with supervisors and team leads regarding work status and issues.
  • Technical Knowledge – Understanding mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
  1. Must know 480V and 220V three phase
  2.  Must know 110V electrical
  • Safety Awareness – Understanding and adhering to safety regulations.
  • Physical stamina – Be able to perform physically demanding tasks.
  • Must be proficient with hand and power tools.
  • Assist in the installation and startup of new machinery and production lines.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Must have high school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications are a plus.
  • Must have great customer service skills.
  • Must have great problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to read technical diagrams, blueprints, and equipment manuals.
  • 2–5 years of industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience is a plus.


Work Environments:

  • Working Flexible Hours as needed. 
  • Physical ability to work in confined spaces, climb ladders, and lift up to 50 lbs.
