Altaflex, a division of OSI Electronics, is seeking a Temp Stiffener Application Operator. This individual will

play a critical role in the fabrication of flexible printed circuit boards by preparing, aligning, laminating, and inspecting SUS and FR4 stiffener materials onto finished flex circuits.



Responsibilities:
  • Prepare SUS and FR4 Stiffener materials according to job travelers and tack to finished flex circuits ensuring proper adhesion, cleanliness, and registration by using a hand-held tacking iron.
  • Operate the Quick Lam lamination equipment to apply stiffeners, and additional material layers according to process specifications.
  • Uphold the company’s core values of Integrity, Innovation, Accountability, and Teamwork.
  • Demonstrate behavior consistent with the company’s Code of Ethics and Conduct.
  • It is the responsibility of every employee to report to their manager or a member of senior management any quality problems or defects in order for corrective action to be implemented and to avoid recurrence of the problem.
  • Duties may be modified or assigned at any time to meet the needs of the business.


Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or equivalent required. Relevant experience may be substituted for a degree.
  • Experience in PCB/FPCB manufacturing is desired.
  • Must have excellent hand/eye coordination, manual dexterity, and ability to use a microscope.
  • Ability to read/follow reading technical drawings, travelers, and follow SOPs required.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work required.
  • Must be detailed oriented and possess good problem-solving skills.
  • Basic computer skills for data entry required.
  • Must be a team player.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced production environment while maintaining high quality standards.
  • Must be able to read, write, and verbally effectively communicate in the business language (English).

The pay range above represents annual base salary only.  Final compensation will be determined based on factors such as your job level, geographic location, date of hire, experience, job-related knowledge and skills, and education in conjunction with market and business considerations.

 
Base salary is one component of your total rewards package.
