Description
Responsibilities:
- Perform electrical, plumbing and carpentry functions as necessary
- Perform regular, preventative maintenance of equipment, building and grounds
- Recommend solutions and changes for equipment, building and grounds maintenance
- Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment
- Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make necessary adjustments to production equipment
- Detect faulty operations, defective material and report those and any other unusual situations to the manager
- Maintain service log for company vehicle; notify manager of needed repairs
- Aid Lean/Six Sigma Group with department moves, flows, etc.
- Attend and participate in company required meetings and training, seminars or educational activities to stay up-to-date on the latest developments, trends, regulations in the market place
- Adhere to company policies and safety standards
- Adhere to ISO process flows
- Attend and participate in all required training and meetings
- Maintain a neat, clean and safe work area
- Other essential duties as assigned

- High School Diploma or equivalent is required
- Completion of a craft apprenticeship or equivalent years of maintenance experience
- Previous experience inspecting parts and specifications in a manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of and proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Office
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics and technical specifications
- Possess high organizational skills, strong work ethic, and attention to detail
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
