Job Summary

The Healthcare Account Manager serves as the primary liaison between clients and IC System, ensuring strong relationships and successful outcomes. This role is responsible for onboarding new key clients, analyzing performance, and proactively managing client relationships to support retention and growth.

 

Location

Candidates who are local to our office in Vadnais Heights, MN will be encouraged to work onsite once per month. This role may be performed fully remotely for those outside the local area.

 

Key Responsibilities

  1. Client Relationship Management
    1. Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring service levels consistently meet expectations
    2. Collaborate with clients, programming, and operations to define project specifications and ensure successful execution
    3. Consult with prospective and existing clients to propose solutions designed to meet client needs from technical and compliance perspectives
  2. Technical Data Oversight
    1. Review and analyze incoming and outgoing data files to support project design and implementation
    2. Provide workflow processes and file specifications for client implementations
    3. Review and approve programming of client data prior to final project implementation
  3. Account Growth & Retention
    1. Identify and pursue opportunities to expand services within existing accounts
    2. Work with the Vice President of Healthcare and Continuous Improvement and the Vice President of Sales in the selling and negotiations necessary to retain and grow profitable clients
    3. Secure new business referrals from existing client base
  4. Industry Engagement
    1. Attend trade shows, seminars, and industry events to promote services, strengthen relationships, and support sales efforts

 

Qualifications

  • 5 years of Healthcare Revenue Cycle experience
  • Experience in a sales, account management, consulting or client facing role
  • Demonstrable ability to communicate, present and influence key stakeholders as appropriate
  • Direct experience demonstrating best-in-class customer service and relationship building skills
  • Ability to resolve disputes to a level that satisfies all parties
  • Great written and verbal communication skills for audiences of all levels

Travel Required: Up to 25% travel may be required nationally and will be asked to attend industry events from time to time.

 

Compensation

$70,000-$80,000 annually, plus commission opportunities
