POSITION SUMMARY  

Lift Watch Job Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and oversee the safe operation of lifts and elevated platforms
  • Maintain constant visual awareness of lift movements and surrounding hazards
  • Communicate clearly with lift operators and ground personnel
  • Ensure work areas remain clear of obstructions, pedestrians and equipment
  • Verify that lift operations comply with site safety plans and permits
  • Stop working immediately if unsafe conditions are observed
  • Never leave the lift operation unattended while in progress
  • Assist with basic site safety and housekeeping as needed

 

WHAT YOU’LL BRING 

Skills & Competencies 

  • Ability to read labels, safety warnings, and guidelines
  • Attentive to detail and alert at all times to ensure safety
  • Able to receive and follow instructions and communicate with co-workers

 

Qualifications 

  • Must have a High school diploma
  • Valid Drivers License required
  • Ability to safely operate various vehicles and equipment
  • Previous experience, especially in mechanical construction industry, and Safety (i.e. OSHA) certifications are a plus!
