Job Description
  • College graduate of any 4 year course; Engineering course is an advantage
  • 4-6 years of experience in purchasing/procurement/supply chain.
  • Experience with ERP with purchasing module.
  • Experience in supplier management, contract management, or sourcing.
  • Manufacturing environment exposure (electronics or similar).
  • Knowledge/experience in ISO and IATF requirements and working environment is an advantage.
  • Experience with supplier performance management and scorecards.
  • Experience with EOL risk management or supply continuity planning.
  • Understanding of procurement and sourcing principles (cost,
  • quality, delivery, risk).
  • Knowledge of end-to-end purchasing cycle.
  • EOL risk management and supply continuity planning knowledge.
  • Supplier management skills: AVL maintenance, scorecards,

Core Job Functions
  • Supplier Identification & Selection: Researching potential vendors, conducting RFPs (Request for Proposals), and evaluating bids based on cost, quality, and reliability.
  • Negotiation & Contracting: Securing favorable terms, pricing, and service level agreements (SLAs), as well as drafting and managing contracts.
  • Relationship Management: Building and maintaining partnerships with suppliers, monitoring performance, and resolving issues to ensure continuous supply.
  • Market Analysis & Cost Optimization: Monitoring market trends, commodity prices, and risks, while analyzing the total cost of ownership to identify savings.
  • Strategic Sourcing Strategy: Collaborating with internal stakeholders to align procurement processes with organizational goals, including the use of tools like SAP or Microsoft Office.
  • Risk Mitigation: Developing strategies to manage potential supply disruptions, including diversifying the supplier base and implementing contingency plans.
