    Responsibilities:  Working with students interested in sports, a coach provides the necessary practice, support and advice for the team to be successful against opposing teams in a sports season.

    Certification: The successful candidate must hold current CT State 600 certification, current CPR and First Aide certification.  Must have previous high school and/or basketball coaching experience. 

    SALARY RANGE:  $5,867 Stipend for the season

    START DATE:  Winter 2026/2027

    Additional Requirements: Applicants should demonstrate a genuine passion for basketball, a willinhgness to grow professionally, and a comitment to supporting the mission of East Haven High School Athletics. The ability to make all freshman, JV and Varsity game and practice days.

    • Candidates must be State of CT 600 Coaching Certified.
    • Must have previous high school and/or basketball coaching experience. Varsity preferred.
    • Have current CPR, First Aide, and CT coaching Certified
    • Knowledge of CIAC rules and regulations.
