Purpose: Responsible for all duties associated with the Scholastic Competition program.
 
Responsible to: Activities Director, Building Principal   
 
Payment rate: Supplemental
 
Minimum Qualifications:
 
Health and Inoculation Certificate on file.
 
Essential Functions:
 
School Term Responsibilities:
1.   Recruit students for Bowl Competition.
2.   Supervise students during Scholastic Competition activities and practices.
3.   Effectively prepare students for competition.
4.   Identify appropriate competitions and arrange for EMS participation.
5.   Provide information for transportation to scholastic competitions.
6.   Organize and coordinate home scholastic competitions.
7.   Be accountable for all budgetary responsibilities associated with Scholastic Competition.
8.   Follow all school district rules and regulations.
9.   Perform other assigned tasks or duties as requested and needed.
 
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervise assistant scholastic competition sponsor and scholastic competition participants at practices and during competitions.
 
Physical Requirements/Environmental Conditions:
 

1. Requires prolonged sitting or standing, and use of equipment including repetitive motions and computer eye fatigue.
2. Ability to handle a fast-paced, intense work environment.
3. Must occasionally work in noisy and crowded environments, with numerous interruptions.
