Job Description

SECTION I: GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Provides support in the creation, improvement, and implementation of Industrial Engineering processes, continually enhancing Safety, Quality, and Productivity.
SECTION II: EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION

2 to 5 years of experience in manufacturing, production, quality control, or project management.
Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.

SECTION III: KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND CERTIFICATIONS

Computer skills (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Adobe).
Experience reading engineering drawings.
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, KAIZEN, DMAIC.
Ergonomic analysis.
Process analysis, standardization, and documentation (VSM, flowcharts).
Line balancing and capacity analysis.
Knowledge of quality standards ISO 9001.
SAP.
AutoCAD (Catia preferred).
English proficiency (Basic – Intermediate).
Teamwork skills.
Planning, organization, and priority management.
Results-oriented mindset and continuous improvement focus.

SECTION IV: MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Review and release of 2D and 3D drawings (comparison and change records).
Impact analysis, documentation, and implementation of ECNs.
Support maintainability related to minutes per vehicle.
Analyze, design, and improve processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
Conduct time and motion studies, line balancing, and capacity analysis.
Implement Lean tools for continuous improvement optimization (5S, KAIZEN, etc.).
Keep layouts of assigned areas updated.
Coordinate continuous improvement projects and work with cross-functional teams.
Impact analysis and activity recording for Kanban clean-up activities.
Problem analysis and resolution.
Perform ergonomic analysis of assigned areas.
Support to keep PFMEA updated.
Collaborate in the development and implementation of equipment (poka-yokes, tools, etc.).
Implementation and support of pilot runs (line balancing, tools, and PPFs).
Support in assigning components to line balance (route creation, component assignment, and validation).
Support production activities (improvement proposals).
Supplier contact.
Purchase Order (PO) management.
Maintain torque and tooling matrix updated.
Follow up on daily reports (Changes, ZPCP, ECNs).
Participate in compliance with the Quality Management System (QMS) requirements related to ISO 9001:2015.
Comply with safety rules established according to the role.
Complete planned training on time.
Identify and report any quality or compliance issues and support corrective actions.
