Job Description

Position Summary

Frandsen Bank & Trust is seeking motivated individuals to join our Commercial/AgBanker Trainee Program at our Mankato, MN office. This two-year program is designed to equip recent graduates with the skills and experience necessary to become successful commercial bankers. Upon completion, candidates must be willing to relocate to a Frandsen Bank office where there is a need for a commercial banker.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in an intensive training program focused on commercial banking operations, credit analysis, client relationship management, and regulatory compliance.
  • Work closely with experienced bankers and mentors to develop a deep understanding of commercial lending and financial solutions.
  • Engage with co-workers, prospective clients, and current clients to foster strong professional relationships.
  • Analyze financial statements and market conditions to support lending decisions and identify business opportunities.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations, reports, and recommendations to management and clients.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve program milestones and contribute to the overall success of the bank.
  • Local office duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance or business required.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively with colleagues, clients, and prospective clients.
  • Willingness to relocate to any Frandsen Bank & Trust location after successful completion of the training program.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Annual salary of $50,000 - $75,000
