Billing/Admin - Part Time (with potential Full time)
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Billing Specialist to join our finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing billing processes, ensuring accurate invoicing, and maintaining positive relationships with clients. Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and send accurate invoices to clients in a timely manner
- Review billing data for discrepancies and resolve billing issues promptly
- Maintain and update billing records and customer accounts
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure correct billing procedures
- Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on overdue payments
- Assist in month-end closing processes related to billing and revenue recognition
- Generate reports on billing activities and outstanding balances for management review
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Billing Specialist, Accounts Receivable Clerk, or similar role
- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency in billing software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations is preferred
