Context

Responsible for moving goods around warehouses or other industrial sites

Purpose

A forklift to unload deliveries from trucks and stack boxes for storage purposes throughout a warehouse and other industrial property.

Areas of responsibility

Contributes to better help all employees and company in the best performance.

Serves as a link between management and employees.

Using machinery like forklifts to load and unload stock from trucks is an essential skill for a forklift operator.

Expected results

This process can include identifying potential hazards like loose loads, centering the weight of a forklift load as much as possible and remaining aware of the maximum load weight the forklift can handle
