Job Description

Basic Function:  The Service Center Specialist supports the Service Center by providing customer service, coordinating program support, and maintaining accurate database records. This role serves as a key point of contact for membership, registration, product, and help desk inquiries while ensuring the integrity of THA’s database through data entry, audits, and reporting.



The specialist also supports several THA programs, including the Awards Program and Certified Healthcare Trustee & Leader program, and provides backup support for the Manager of Education Programs and other administrative functions as needed.



Responsibilities:



Customer Service




  • Serve as the primary customer service contact for membership, registration, products, and help desk inquiries.

  • Respond to member and prospective member questions via phone and email.

  • Assist users with website access, navigation, login support, and password assistance.



Program Support:




  • Create surveys for Board Self-Assessment and CEO Evaluation programs, including custom questions as needed.

  • Distribute survey links to hospital liaisons.

  • Monitor participation and provide response rate updates.

  • Close surveys and transfer data to the program analysis dashboard.

  • Coordinate with the program manager on new Certified Healthcare Trustee & Leader member records and data support.

  • Coordinate award winner registrations for THA and THT annual conferences.



Database Management




  • Maintain and update THA’s database with information such as C-suite staff updates, hospital mergers, acquisitions, closures, openings, and returned mail.

  • Perform accurate and timely data entry for meeting registrations, product sales, and other transactions.

  • Process cash receipt batches as assigned.

  • Generate approved internal reports and perform data extractions from the database.

  • Conduct regular database audits to ensure accuracy and data integrity.

  • Initiate product fulfillment when necessary.



Administrative Support




  • Provide backup support for facilities operations including retrieving and sorting mail and logging incoming cash receipts.

  • Provide backup support for the reception desk as needed.

  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
