Summary of Position:
Do you enjoy public speaking and answering questions? If so, becoming a tour guide allows you to do just that, with a flexible schedule. Tour Guides will give walking tours of campus, escort groups to and from various campus locations, and share their love of Ferris to prospective students that are coming to visit in a large group from schools or organizations. Based on semester, Tour Guides will also have a role with the Crimson and Gold program and Orientation.
 


Position Requirements:
*Possess good public speaking skills
*Have strong knowledge of the University and be able to answer a variety of questions
*Must be comfortable with working outdoors
*Need at least 2 semesters of education at Ferris
 


Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
*Offer presentations or campus tours
*Escort students and chaperones to various locations across campus
*Work campus events and Orientation programming
*Be able to walk a mile while talking
 


Additional Physical Requirements:
Being able to walk at least a mile while talking.
