In-Home Caregiver

Home Instead of the Black Hills – Rapid City, SD
Full-Time and Part-Time Opportunities Available
Pay: $18.50–$21/hr based on qualifications

Serving: Rapid City, Spearfish, Custer, Hot Springs, and surrounding areas

At Home Instead, we’re looking for compassionate, dependable individuals to become Care Professionals — supporting aging adults to live independently in the comfort of their homes.

Whether you’re looking for daytime, evening, overnight or weekend shifts, your time and compassion can make a life-changing difference.

 

What You'll Need

  • Your own reliable vehicle for the purposes of your shifts

  • A current valid driver's license and vehicle insurance as a listed driver for the vehicle you will take for the purposes of your shifts
  • The ability to pass a Criminal Background Check, Motor Vehicle Records Check, and drug screen
  • A smartphone or device that has access to service

 

Your Role as a Care Professional

As a Care Pro, you’ll provide non-medical support including but not limited to:

  • Companionship & conversation

  • Personal care assistance

  • Light housekeeping & meal preparation

  • Transportation to appointments or errands

  • Medication reminders

You’ll bring dignity, connection, and peace of mind to the seniors you serve — every single day.
