JOB DESCRIPTION 
Title: Security Analyst II (Varonis)

Location: Bangalore
 
SCOPE
This role would be supporting TTI(Mouser's Parent Company).Act as the primary Varonis (DatAdvantage) technical expert to the organization.

ACCOUNTABILITIES & ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Essentials of the role:
Substantive professional experience with Varonis DatAdvantage and Spirion
Complete research and remediation of policy violations, to include end-user management notification and the regular production of appropriate reports
Coordinate remediation efforts with subject matter experts and IS team from across the TTI Inc
Engage with end-users to assist, training and troubleshooting where necessary
Manage the continuous transformation and improvement of written policies into technical processes to be used within Varonis, and assist IT and business areas with completing exception requests where policy cannot be satisfied
Design and implement monitoring, blocking, and alerting strategies 
Design and develop Data Classification Framework, Sensitive Content Discovery and Labelling
Conduct Enterprise Search & eDiscovery, respond to the DatAlert User Behaviour Analytics
Implementation experience in Data Classification, Information Security Strategy, Data Protection and Privacy, Data Leakage/Content Monitoring and Filtering, Data Encryption
Partner with Risk, Compliance, Audit, and business stakeholders to assess and determine the data to be monitored
Work with the IS team to create awareness campaigns to reduce the number of policy violations
Use critical thinking to understand what needs to be addressed and secured 
Good technical writing skills for developing and maintaining all relevant documentation.
Establishes and maintains effective relationships with business associates.
Ad hoc duties and accountabilities as directed by the Information Security Management.
Able to implement hardware and software improvements, upgrades, and repairs as directed.

SKILLS & CERTIFICATIONS 

Essentials of the role:
Good understanding in securing the File servers, O365 applications using the Varonis
Experience in Security concepts, Microsoft systems administrator or similar, implying a good understanding of Microsoft server-side technologies, including MS Active Directory management concepts and NTFS concepts
Knowledge in Regulatory Compliances of ITAR, PCI, GDPR, CCPA (ISO27001) and international privacy regulation.
Good to maintain any Security certification. 

Good to have:
Experience in Varonis software/hardware, storage devices, collectors, IDU, probe, SQL Server, and SSRS
Working knowledge on the Cyber incident management process, Security Playbooks, Continuous Security monitoring,
Proven experience of working within an ITIL framework (specifically incident, problem and change management)
Good knowledge in Scripting of PowerShell, Python. 
Experience in implementation of Data Privacy protection tools is an advantage

 

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE 
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science.
4+ years of experience working with network and security hardware, software, and applications
