We are seeking a Sales Champion to spearhead our growth within the U.S. meat processing sector. This is a high-impact role designed for a seasoned professional who speaks the language of the plant floor and the boardroom alike.
You will focus on delivering high-value capital equipment solutions—specifically smokehouses and batch ovens—to medium-sized butcheries and regional processors. If you have a "rolodex" of industry contacts and a passion for thermal processing technology, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive Capital Sales: Manage the full sales lifecycle for custom-configured thermal systems, including smokehouses, batch ovens, and dry-cure systems.
- Consultative Selling: Conduct on-site process analyses to help clients optimize capacity, yield, and energy efficiency.
- Strategic Networking: Leverage existing relationships with owners, plant managers, and engineering leads to identify new installations and plant expansions.
- Technical Coordination: Work closely with engineering and service teams to translate complex customer requirements into compliant, high-performance equipment solutions.
- Market Leadership: Stay ahead of the competitive landscape and regional market trends to position our technology as the premier choice for specialty and craft meat producers.

Requirements
- Proven Track Record: 5–10 years of direct experience selling thermal processing systems (smoking, cooking, roasting, drying).
- Established Network: A deep, personal network within the U.S. regional meat processing and butchery community.
- Product Expertise: Technical fluency in the production of sausages, salami, pepperoni, and specialty smoked meats.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Solid understanding of USDA/FDA requirements, HACCP principles, and food safety standards.
- Commercial Acumen: Skilled in navigating long sales cycles, complex negotiations, and performance-based compensation structures.
- Background: Previous experience with an OEM or a specialized U.S. equipment distributor is highly preferred.
- Extensive travel: North America and Europe, 50-70%
