Position Overview:
The Legend Clubs is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Assistant Coaches for our Junior Golf Program. The program runs on six Tuesdays throughout the summer, providing a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the development of young golfers in a beautiful setting. The exact dates are June 16, 23, 30, July 14, 28 & August 4th. The shift, based on availability, will be Tuesdays: 8:30 AM-3:00 PM. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain valuable experience in coaching and mentoring young athletes. Assistant Coaches will receive $10.00 per hour compensation, along with additional benefits, including potential playing opportunities at The Legend Clubs.
Responsibilities:
· Assist the Golf Professionals in organizing and conducting instructional sessions for junior golfers.
· Provide guidance and support to junior golfers during practice sessions and on-course play.
· Ensure the safety and well-being of all participants.
· Help maintain equipment and facilities used during the program.
· Foster a positive and inclusive environment that encourages skill development and enjoyment of the game.
Knowledge and Skills:
· Passion for golf and working with children.
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
· Basic knowledge of golf fundamentals and rules preferred, but not required.
· Prior coaching or teaching experience is a plus.
Education and Training:
Must be over 15 years old.
