Duties

Serves as the Director of the Customer Engagement Group and exercises the full range of supervisory personnel management authorities over senior level GS-14 subject matter experts.,Manage DCMA’s strategic outreach to leaders in the Office of the Secretary of War (OSW), Under Secretary of War for Acquisition and Sustainment, Research and Engineering, 4th Estate Agencies, Military Services, Buying Commands, and non-DoW Agencies,Represents DCMA on boards, councils, and task groups convened by external stakeholders.,Participates with high level representatives of public and private industry on matters pertaining to customer expectations.,Provides leadership to subordinates and technical guidance to executive/management level representatives from the Military Services, DCMA, and other Government Agencies.

Qualifications

To qualify for a Director Customer Engagement, your resume and supporting documentation must support: Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position and is directly in, or related to, this position. To qualify for the NH-04 level, specialized experience must be at the NH-03 or GS-13 grade level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military or private sector. Applicants must meet eligibility requirements including time-after-competitive appointment, minimum qualifications, and any other regulatory requirements by the cut-off/closing date of the announcement. Creditable specialized experience includes: Representing the organization's value for the Acquisition Enterprise during senior customer engagements and forums. Preparing executive leadership for industry engagements such as councils, steering groups, industry meetings, and forums. Collecting, analyzing, synthesizing, and disseminating relevant customer and industry data, information, and intelligence to internal and external customers. Providing direction, maintaining ethical standards, and leading teams in executing complex contract management and operational responsibilities in a high-accountability Department of War (DoW) environment.

Education

Substitution of education may not be used in lieu of specialized experience for this grade level.

Selectee may be required to serve a trial/probationary period. Acquisition, Technology & Logistics (AT&L) CAP: Position is a DoD Critical Acquisition Position & requires DoD Acquisition Contracting, Professional certification within required timeframes. Selectee must also achieve 80 hours of Continuous Learning Points (CLPs) every 2-years and sign a written agreement to remain in Federal service in the position for at least three years.
