Wellness Director

A reputable and well-established Assisted Living community in Colorado is seeking an experienced and compassionate Wellness Director to lead clinical care and wellness operations. This search is being conducted confidentially.

Position Overview

The Wellness Director is responsible for overseeing all health and wellness services within the assisted living community, ensuring high-quality resident care, regulatory compliance, and effective clinical leadership. This role works closely with executive leadership to promote a resident-centered, supportive, and safe environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all clinical and wellness services within the assisted living community

  • Lead, supervise, and support nursing and care staff

  • Ensure compliance with Colorado assisted living regulations and licensing standards

  • Coordinate resident assessments, care plans, and ongoing evaluations

  • Collaborate with physicians, families, pharmacies, and external providers

  • Monitor quality indicators, audits, and documentation

  • Respond to resident health concerns and clinical needs as required

  • Promote a culture of dignity, respect, and resident-centered care

Qualifications

  • Active RN or LPN license (Colorado or ability to obtain)

  • Minimum 3–5 years of clinical leadership experience, preferably in assisted living or senior living

  • Strong understanding of assisted living regulations and best practices

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills

  • Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality
