Job Description

Job Title: Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)

Supervisor: Clinical Director/Executive Director

Job Type: Full-Time

FLSA Status: Exempt

Summary:

The BCBA develops and implements programs for clients as well as conducts staff and parent training by performing the following duties. Participants, staff management, billing oversight, and direct implementation of staff training. This role includes providing services through the Michelle P waiver and the Supported Community Living waiver in accordance with the Kentucky Department of Medicaid Service guidelines. The clients will include, but are not limited to, those clients on the wait list for the full-day intensive teaching program.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Including but not limited to):

  • Creates and implements language, academic, and non-academic programs using assessment tools such as ABLLS-R, AFLS, VB-MAPP, PEAK, etc.
  • Creates, implements, and conducts parent and staff training on Behavior Support Plans.
  • Implements and interprets results from Functional Behavior Assessments and Analyses when required.
  • May conduct supervision with practicum students enrolled in Master’s Programs in Applied Behavior Analysis and Registered Behavior Technician (RBT).
  • Graphs and interprets behavior and acquisition programming data.
  • Create program materials as needed.
  • Provides performance feedback to supervisees and instructors.
  • Conducts and implements staff and parent training.
  • Establishes and maintains behavior support plans and programs for 6-10 clients at a time.
  • Meets a minimum of an average of 26 billable hours per weekly basis
  • Collaborate with Clinical Directors to ensure the best practices are in place at all times.
  • Engages in 1:1 teaching time with each client they are responsible for every week.
  • Assists in developing training materials for staff.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Director and Clinical Director.
  • Develop Behavior Support Plans and train Direct Service Providers as well as caregivers.
  • Coordinate with Case Managers or other professionals in accordance with BSP requirements through waiver services.
  • Maintain all necessary credentials and licensing requirements in accordance with KY state waiver services, Medicaid, and commercial funders.
  • All salaried staff members are expected to volunteer annually for at least one fundraising event benefiting BCA.

 

Supervisory Responsibilities

This job has no direct staff supervisory responsibilities. This role will oversee the work of practicum students and RBTs while adequately training staff working with assigned clients to implement the behavior plans and programs they create.
