Position Summary
JCCA is seeking an Assistant Director of Clinical Services to lead and supervise a team of clinicians providing Children and Family Treatment and Support Services (CFTSS) in our Residential Treatment Center and Westchester-based programs.
This role is ideal for a strong clinical leader with experience in supervision, trauma-informed care, and child-serving systems. The Assistant Director will also oversee clinical services within our Center for Healing Sexually Abused and Exploited Children, ensuring high-quality, evidence-based care.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Supervision
- Provide individual and group supervision to OLP clinicians
- Review cases and ensure adherence to clinical best practices
- Oversee assessments, treatment plans, safety plans, and progress notes
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching/feedback
- Address performance concerns in accordance with agency policy
Program Oversight
- Ensure compliance with Article 29i and CFTSS regulations
- Oversee admissions, treatment planning, and discharge processes
- Monitor service quality, outcomes, and productivity
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (medical, residential, education)
- Participate in MDT meetings, rounds, and case conferences
Clinical Services
- Provide direct clinical services (individual, group, family therapy) as needed
- Support staff working with:
- Problem Sexualized Behaviors (PSB)
- Commercial Sexual Exploitation of Children (CSEC)
- Child Sexual Abuse (CSA)
Administrative & Operations
- Ensure staff maintain required trainings and certifications
- Monitor billing, documentation, and productivity standards
- Assist with reporting, scheduling, and program tracking
Qualifications
- LMSW (New York State)
- Minimum 2 years of clinical supervisory experience
- Experience working with children and families in a behavioral health setting
- Strong knowledge of documentation, compliance, and clinical best practices
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent clinical judgment and assessment abilities
- Effective communication (written and verbal)
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Preferred
- LCSW (New York State)
- Experience with Article 29i programs
- Experience in residential or intensive services settings
- Bilingual (Spanish-speaking)
- Familiarity with EHR systems
