Services are provided through our six main campuses:
Northern Hospital Epping, Broadmeadows Hospital, Bundoora Centre, Craigieburn and Mernda Community Hospitals Centres and Kilmore District Hospital. In addition, Mental Health Services are provided at Epping, Broadmeadows, Jacana, Preston, Mill Park, Mernda and Coburg.
About the Role:
Are you a highly experienced clinical psychologist looking to make a meaningful impact at a system level—while maintaining flexibility?
This part-time leadership opportunity offers the chance to influence clinical excellence across a Tier 5 public mental health service in Victoria and be apart of the psychology leadership team.
We are seeking a Senior Grade 5 Clinical Psychologist to provide strategic and clinical leadership during an 11-month long service backfill period working part 0.5FTE.
In this role, you will lead the implementation and ongoing strengthening of high-standard, evidence-based psychological care for consumers living with significant mental health conditions or experiencing acute and complex mental health presentations.
This role is responsible for
Lead and support psychologists and multidisciplinary teams, strengthening clinical capability and confidence in the delivery of evidence based psychological treatments for consumers experiencing acute complex mental health presentations with Adult and Older Adult services
Embed best-practice frameworks across acute, community and specialist mental health settings
Influence quality, governance, and service innovation during a critical leadership period
To be successful in this role you will have:
Endorsement as a Clinical Psychologist with substantial senior experience in public mental health setting, and be a Psychology Board Approved supervisor
Extensive experience in the delivery of psychological treatments
Understanding of both community and acute mental health services
Proven leadership skills in complex public mental health environments
Strong skills in clinical governance, supervision, and service development
A commitment to evidence-based practice and continuous improvement
