This role is ideal for a California-licensed P.E. with 10+ years of experience who thrives in managing complex projects, mentoring teams, and building strong client relationships. You’ll oversee transportation initiatives from concept through completion, guiding strategy, execution, and stakeholder engagement while anchoring BKF’s leadership in public infrastructure across the region.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to deliver high-quality public infrastructure projects from concept through construction
  • Navigate permitting processes, technical studies, and agency coordination to ensure smooth project delivery
  • Apply a strong understanding of transportation design standards and regulatory requirements to guide project execution
  • Mentor junior staff and contribute to team development through technical guidance and career support
  • Represent BKF in client meetings, public forums, and industry events, serving as a trusted advisor to stakeholders
  • Identify new project opportunities and actively participate in business development efforts, including proposal preparation and cross-selling services
  • Build visibility and strengthen BKF’s transportation presence across the Bay Area through strategic engagement and relationship-building
