We are seeking an Applications Engineer (AE) to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll support the development of technical and cost-effective process solutions, provide bid and proposal support, and act as a key technical resource for our Regional Sales Managers. The AE will play a vital role in ensuring proposals are accurate and aligned with customer and internal requirements, contributing directly to our continued success.


  • Design and size process solutions tailored to customer needs
  • Prepare technical bids and proposals for Centrisys product offerings
  • Participate in risk reviews for proposed designs and processes
  • Collaborate with Regional Sales Managers, engineering consultants, and customers
  • Ensure all solutions conform to contract specifications and technical drawings
  • Develop and maintain proposal templates, reference lists, and design spreadsheets
  • Process and write up incoming orders, reconciling any discrepancies in scope, pricing, or delivery
  • Source vendor quotes to support accurate and competitive project budgeting
  • Prepare kickoff packages and documentation for internal project execution
  • Analyze completed project cost data to inform future proposals

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical, Environmental, or Civil required); Master’s degree preferred
  • 2-3 Years of engineering experience or relevant technical field
  • Strong background in process engineering and wastewater treatment technologies is preferred
  • Excellent technical writing and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD (reviewing P&ID/PFD drawings)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Highly self-motivated and able to work independently
  • Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening
